Search GitHub

In this episode we will look at a small but practical feature: searching for public GitHub repositories from within Tower. This feature is especially useful if you often contribute to open source projects.

From the Bookmarks view, let’s activate the Clone dialog. Here, we can enter part of the repository’s name and we will see all the public repositories on GitHub matching that name. Then, we can simply press the return key twice to clone the repository.
