Resetting a File to an Old Revision

In this episode, we’re going to restore a single, specific file to an older version.

In the Working Copy view, we can have all files displayed - and not just modified ones. Let’s select "index.html", right-click that and select “Show File History” from the menu.

Now we have a listing of only the commits where that particular file was changed - and we can easily see how exactly it was changed over time.

We can then simply right-click the revision of the file we want to restore, and select the “restore” option from the menu.
