NavigationThis feature was introduced in version 3 of Tower for Mac.
Navigating your Git repository in Tower is easy thanks to some helpful interface elements:
Back / Forward Buttons
On the top left of the toolbar, there are back and forward buttons. These work just like in a web browser and allow you to quickly jump between views.
The "Navigation Bar" is located right below the actual toolbar buttons. It paints a breadcrumb path of where exactly in the repository you are at this moment. This is great for keeping your orientation - but the navigation bar can also be used to move to other views: most of the elements in this navigation path are clickable. This way, you can switch context and inspect other Git data along this path very easily.
Another great and very easy way to navigate your repository is to use Tower's Quick Actions dialog.
